God I’m feeling down
Your presence far
My gloominess near
I felt like doing nothing
But I was so bored
I read Your word
Not expectant
Or fully interested
Still You give
Your everlasting peace
It flows over me
Like a waterfall of silk
And blesses me
Beyond all measure
You took today
And made it blessed
Your Love is faithful
It is kind and patient
Working a new heart into Your servant
So that Your spirit may dwell
Within mine
Like the temple
Moving and speaking
To Your children
Whom You never forget
God remember me now
And bless Your child
Be with me this weekend
Make it glorious in Your sight
God you are good and Your spirit abounds
In me it works
With wonder and miracles
The change that you’ve worked
I could never have done

My brother found out I was posting this stuff and now he is helping me edit it and make it flow better. I really do appreciate any advice or comments you might have. I just want to seem my love for God even if I'm not the best writer.
