Day 9

God you set me apart

So I could serve in a new capacity.

When people see me they will know,

That is God’s child,

Different, changed,

A new creation.

Blessed by God

With peace and joy,

Not for my praise

But to show

The love you’ve shown me

To the lost and weary.

You give freely to all.

My Lord and God

I love you so

You make me smile

And remind me of Your goodness

Your precious spirit

That you pour over me

Filling me up

Not stopping

Unless I stop seeking you

You give me strength

In times of need

When life is tough

And I fall on my knees

You’re always there

In desperate prayer

Blessing me in Your perfect ways

I don’t know how

Or even why

You’re so good to me

Faithful and just

I can always trust You

To be waiting

For me to give up

On my own ways

And ask for Your help

My Savior’s aid

Never ending

Always one-hundred times more fruitful

Than I ever imagined

Your perfect will

And plan for me

Will never fail

Even when I’m weak

Because not even I can ruin

Your perfect plan for me

A Savior I can trust

Is the Lord I serve

I am humbled by His perfection

In making something beautiful

Out of all my imperfections

What other grace

Can you call upon

That never fails

Never lies yet in all His strength

I am free to choose

But once you’ve seen His glory

How can you turn back

And ever be satisfied

With this dull world

Day 8

Thank You Lord

You gave me a way

To always be filled

With the right words to say

To be encouraged and uplifted

In the tongue of angels

I speak praise

This gift You’ve given

A glorious blessing

I worship when I’m empty

When I don’t know what to say

You fill me with words

To encourage and bless

The people in my life,

You give me peace

Reminding me

You are near

Always faithful

Sovereign Lord

So great is Your filling

As beautiful as a sunset

Warm like a fire

I am renewed

In my spirit there is peace

Thank You Lord

I am blessed

Day 7

In this dry empty world

My prayer is to see

Through Your eyes

So where I see despair

I would instead see hope

Where’s there’s pain I would see your hand healing

Your presence in every situation

Covering and blessing

Protection and peace

In all things may I know Your truth

The Hope of glory

May Your shekinah glory

Fill the streets

So much so

That every man

Would stop fighting, yelling, and worrying

Because of Your overwhelming peace

Softly whispering Your Love

To all Your children

Lost and saved alike

I pray that this is done

In Your power, glory

And the name of Jesus Christ

Peace on the earth

May it last

Building bridges

Softening hearts

And healing wounds

It is done

You are so good

God I Love You!

By faith it is prayed

By power it is brought to truth

You are my saving grace

You remind me of Your Love

At every turn

Not giving me a chance to forget

Day 6

Daddy I’m home

Knock knock

My doors are wide open

Come on in

You are good God

You Love me

And You are always with me

You don’t let go

And you are always ready to comfort

This smile on my face

Is from being with You

Nothing more

Nothing less

It makes me want to sing and dance

But I know I don’t need to

To get Your attention

You can’t keep your eyes

Off of me

Your beautiful child

Chosen and set apart

I Love You

But my Love is nothing

Compared to Your unwavering devotion

You will provide

You are in control

What more could I ask for

Or even want

I would be a fool

To think my grass is

Anything but the greenest

With God I am blessed

Not with money or things

But peace joy

And the satisfaction of knowing I’m Loved

You are good Lord thank You

God help me to trust You

To put my faith in You

To believe in Your faithfulness

My hope comes from You

When I’m focused on You
I am filled with Your peace

Day 5

I feel exhausted and dead

But in You is life and rest

Give me exponential peace

May it grow in me

I want a renewing of my spirit

Strength I haven’t known

Peace I haven’t felt

And Joy not yet revealed on my face

Your truth abounds

As I worship

And speak Your truth

I am continually filled

By Your Holy Spirit

A beautiful gift

Still surprising me with new blessings

Thank You Daddy

I Love You

Day 4

Give me rest

Give me peace

Bless my soul

Oh my Lord

Bless my heart

With grace and truth

Cleanse my mind

Of impure thoughts

Teach me Your path

Show me the steps to take

And I ask for Love

Paths in my life being worked out

Tell me what to do

In that still small voice

Day 3

Thank You for tonight

For guidance and prayer

Patience and understanding

Thank You for Your words

Spoken to confirm

My friend, he spoke of Holiness

Chosen as holy and set apart

For a specific purpose

Like fine china

Ruined for normal living

But made whole in service

In obedience and building of God’s kingdom

Chosen for God’s plan

For service in his kingdom

Set apart

A prophet

An encourager

An intercessor

God’s beloved chosen son

To share the good news

Of Love and glory

No better place

Do I have on this earth

Than on the path of Christ

Serving, Loving, Living life to the fullest

Praise God my rock and king

Lord I give my life into Your service

Your will I will follow

With all my heart soul and mind

No flesh can stop what the Holy Spirit

Has set into motion within my being
