I Love You Lord

You’re my only hope

I come to You again

For strength

And Your guidance in my life

That Your will might be done

Through my faults and weakness

Your glory is shown

God give me victory in my life

Victory for Your kingdom

So You might be glorified

Have me constantly come to You

In prayer asking for forgiveness

Asking for peace

And asking for Your love

I need You God

I can’t live the life I want

Without Your help

You are my hope

Where does my help come from

My help comes from the Lord

He is my strength

My shelter in the storm

My shield from the wind

Trying to knock me down

He fills my life with Joy and light

No corner can stay dark forever

He lights up so bright

I’m ecstatic with His presence

Day 21

Thank You God

For giving me victory in my life

Don’t let me take You for granted

You are good

I don’t want to lose sight of that

I get caught up in school and life

May You be my life

Be the center and purpose

Not just in what I say

But you would be actively present

Speaking to me

Building me

Teaching me Your ways

Please be the Lord of my life

Thank You for showing me

How to find rest in You

Help me to relax

And stop busying myself

Let me know that Your enough

I don’t need a computer

Education or friends

To make me feel fulfilled

You are enough for me

Let me focus on You

And the rest will

Fall into place

Thank You Lord

I want to spend more time

With You

I love You

Day 19

Praise You God

For giving me people who matter

Who make a difference in my life

And who I will never forget

You have blessed me abundantly

Everyone I’ve known

You’ve used to make an impact

Even those I’ve hurt

And been hurt by

Have changed my life in good ways

You always heal broken relationships

When I ask for Your help

You don’t rush people

But take Your time

And heal wounds the right way

I still remember

Going back and asking for forgiveness

Years after I’d hurt them

And you used me to bless them

After all this time

You are good

Even now

With people I see all the time

You heal the broken

Lift up the weary

And bless me through them

For every acquaintance

For every friend

For the best of friends

And for family

I just want to say

Thank you God for blessing me

For humbling my spirit

And showing me

I need community

I need people

To pray and remind me

Of what I believe

What my morals are

And why I stick to them

Give me Your grace

I need Your Spirit

God I’m sorry

Please forgive me

I want to change

To be free from sin

I’m not so lucky

I struggle and toil

My life stretched

Between lust and love

Which will win out

Give me Your love

A love so powerful

It breaks all sin

It died for me

So I might live

To know your undying love

Nothing can get in the way of your love

Not my mistakes or bad choices

You forgive all

I am so thankful
